The Vintage Letter Lady

I have a love of all things old and vintage. I love the fact that all things have a history to them, a story, a different life to how we use them now. Because of this love The Vintage Letter Lady was born!

 

My name is Sam, I am a full time mummy to 3 amazing boys, 5yr old twins and a 3yr old so life is pretty hectic. I have realised since lockdown that little boys are like dogs and need to be taken out twice a day for a run! So when I get sometime to myself I am also The Vintage Letter Lady. 

 

I up-cycle vintage and retro games to bring back fond childhood memories, but without the arguments! All the games I use are original, I do not use replicas or prints. I am really passionate that all the games I use are incomplete having lost their original use, whether they are missing pieces or their board is ripped or torn. I then use all the lovely parts to make gorgeous frames for people. 

 

I feel passionate about trying to reuse, recycle and relove old things which are no longer used, and destined for landfill, and upcycle them into something new and useable. 

 

As everything is made by hand in my studio in North London I offer a made to order service for my frames, mainly scrabble, which are very popular and can normally be turned around within a week to 10 days plus postage time.
